How we work
Consultation
Our Project Manager and Design Specialist discuss your specifications and provide expert advice. We work with design firms, architects, hospitality clients on commercial and residential projects.
estimate
We know how important it is for our clients to get an accurate and detailed quotation for their project. We work out of blueprints or list of measurements. Once an order is confirmed, our team will measure if needed.
MANUFACTURING
After taking measurements, all draperies and shades are made in our drapery workroom. We work with your COM fabrics and our in-stock fabrics. Ripplefold wave pleat, pinch pleat, inverted pleat, rod pocket, grommets, self-lined and more.
INSTALLATion
We schedule installation with our team of in-house professional installers. We do it all, from extra high windows requiring scaffolding to motorized drapery tracks, sound control and outdoor drapes.
Since 1957
Don’s Drapery is a manufacturer of custom curtains, drapes and shades. The story started on Heckel St in Belleville, NJ, when Marie started making draperies in her home for decorators. In 1971, Marie and Don moved to our current facility located at 145 Heckel St.
Our custom drapes and shades manufacturing workroom is one of the largest in NJ and NY with over 7,000 sq feet. We are a COM drapery workroom. We also have a wide range of drapery fabrics and sheers in stock.
